The Haunted Marketplace
Facebook is losing relevance with Gen-Z, but they still use Marketplace for unique finds.
To win back their attention, we turned Facebook Marketplace into The Haunted Marketplace on Halloween.
The most notoriously (and legitimately) haunted places in America listed real haunted items with real haunting histories.
Someone even listed West Virginia’s infamous Mystic Manor for $666,666.
In just 5 days, The Haunted Marketplace garnered 6.3% increase in daily active users, 29.2 million impressions, 154% increase in Marketplace engagements, and reached 7.5 million real people. The Haunted Marketplace brought the biggest attention spike in the history of Facebook, and dominated conversations around Halloween.
This project was recognized by all major award shows.
